Meet Emily!
Our second new addition to The Anti-Burnout Club is Emily, who is a registered Nutritionist (MSc, aFn, mCNHC, mBANT), plant based chef and health and wellbeing coach for the NHS – she’s a busy lady and knows all too well what burnout can be like!
Both Anna and Emily will be running the new nutrition section on the site, packing it full of lessons, guides and recipes to help you eat your way to better well-being.
When I asked Emily why she loved being a nutritionist, she said:
I get to see the difference that nutrition can make to people’s lives. Nutritionists aren’t just there to write a diet plan or give you recipes and send you on your way. We’re here to hear you, understand you, listen to what you really need, to counsel you and guide you to make the best choices for you and your health. I’m passionate about the healing power of food and there is no better feeling than helping my clients become happier and healthier.
Based in Berkshire, but now working with her nutrition clients fully online, one of Emily’s biggest passions is how nutrition and brain health are linked, as well as dispelling common nutrition myths. She wanted to become part of The ABC because:
I’ve been there! I know how it feels to be stressed out and overwhelmed. I also know how big of a role nutrition can play in stress management, brain health and overall health. I am so excited to be able to share my passion and knowledge with you all and become part of the community!
We think she’ll be an excellent part of the community! Finally, I asked Emily what her favourite quote is:
Eat real food. Not too much. Mostly plants.
