More about The Anti-Burnout Journal
Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. Burnout has become more than just a buzz word or a symptom of stress. With searches related to burnout rising on average 41% annually since 2017, and 77% of employees saying they’ve experienced burnout, it’s no wonder the World Health Organisation has started to take it more seriously. And that’s before the pandemic and working-from-home burnout became even more prevalent.
It was these worrying facts and her own experience of burnout that led mental-health advocate Bex Spiller to set up The Anti-Burnout Club, which has grown exponentially since launch in 2021. Bex has witnessed first-hand how burnout isn’t just reserved for high-flying execs at FTSE 100 companies. It’s creeping into our homes, making it impossible for many of us to cope with all of the demands of modern life.
With this journal, Bex has created a multi-platform solution to a growing problem. Combining people’s love for pen and paper with the rise in online wellness apps and platforms, The Anti-Burnout Journal works for traditionalists and technology lovers alike. This undated journal spans 12 weeks with weekly lessons and challenges to help beat burnout, delivered through the pages of the journal alongside an online dashboard with lifetime access to video lessons in yoga, mindfulness, meditation, nutrition and breathwork, can be watched time and again.
Alongside the lessons are weekly and daily pages that encourage journalling the more traditional way using everything you’ve learned. This multi-platform approach makes this journal completely unique and ensures that you can use it in a way that suits you, without feeling more stress or overwhelm. This one-of-a-kind journal is the perfect gift to yourself or someone in need of self-care in this stressful world we live in and promises to help you slow down, reflect, find balance and restore a sense of calm.

I’ve been benefiting from the Anti-burnout club online support for a while and was so excited about this book which I pre-ordered and received a couple of days ago. I’m not at all disappointed! I’m right at the beginning, having spent some prep time yesterday and today reading the info and setting my intentions. Once set up it feels like it will flow easily to help me achieve my goals with sensible guidance but without there being so much stuff to be overwhelming. This is a quality item that’s well designed, nice to hold and with lovely paper that is satisfying to write on. Haven’t yet tried the online resources within this plan (although I’ve used some of the brilliant videos and recipes previously so I know how useful they are). Just taking it a step at a time, it feels really positive and I’m excited to see how it pans out. Thank you Bex for all you do.

As someone who loves using planners and journals I have tried and tested so many, but this has to be my all time favourite!
It has all your daily/weekly planning essentials that makes it very functional as a general use planner but with the added bonus of a habit and mood tracker, end of day reflections, goal setting and priorities for the week/day.
The best thing about this journal has to be the 12 week guided course which you access in the journal and online. This is what makes this journal stand out from the crowd!! It guides you through everything from intention setting, habit building, exercise, nutrition, meditation and so much more!?
Honestly you get so much value for your money, it’s half the price of most of the journals I’ve used before you get so much more! Highly recommend!!!

This is a fantastic journal! Not only is it very pretty, and great quality, it's also very user friendly. The sections and bullet points are very useful and to the point, so if you don't want to spend too long filling in the journal, you don't have to. I also love the fact that each day has a lesson associated to it, and therefore helps with personal self-development. I've been a member of the ABC for several months and really value the lessons, exercises classes and courses, the teachers and the community.
I highly recommend it, for anyone looking for a journal with a difference! And as it's undated, you can start it whenever you want!

Arrived today and I’ve had a read through, but I’m starting my 2 week journey in February. However, it looks awesome!
It is so much more than a book/journal as it gives you access to online resources like videos and articles.
It promises not to overload and is based around a wide range of empowering approaches. Simple layout, easy to follow, non-judgemental and structured! Any more would be adding to the workload, and I want to prevent that.
Bex is awesome and worth contacting for some 1:1 inspiration and insight, particularly if you want to support those working with or for you.

I love how the author breaks down steps we can take to improve our health. I loved the weekly check-ins. So often, I let time - months, years - go by without thinking about what I'd like to accomplish. This book really helps you ask yourself what you would like to do, and helps you break down the steps on a weekly basis.
