More about the Overcoming Overwhelm Journal
Have you ever felt that they aren’t enough hours in the day? That your mind is fizzing with all the things you need to remember? That there are simply too many things you need to do and you are buried in responsibilities? If so, then you may have experienced overwhelm!
Based on the popular course from the Anti-Burnout Club, the Overcoming Overwhelm Journal takes the reader on a journey back to feeling in control and filled with confidence in just 12 weeks. Designed to be used as a friendly guide out of the murky waters of feeling overwhelmed, readers are given a set of tools they can turn to again and again to help them when times are just a little bit tough.
Written by Bex Spiller, author of the best-selling Anti-Burnout Journal and founder of The Anti-Burnout Club, the Overcoming Overwhelm Journal is perfect for readers who are going through a difficult patch, and is filled with helpful advice for combatting negative feelings. This three-part journal is designed to be used over a 12-week period, starting with how to recognise and understand the overwhelm before moving on in part two to look at how to calm and untangle your mind. In the final part, banish the feelings of overwhelm for good using all the advice and techniques explored, and habits built, throughout the previous weeks.
Key to those techniques is the Brain Dumping method, and the journal shows how this truly can be life-changing for anyone needing space and time to just get it all out and free their mind from a thousand thoughts! Bex Spiller fully explores how brain dumping can be beneficial and shows readers the most effective way to make this tool a key part of their self-care routine.
Alongside Brain Dumping, the Overcoming Overwhelm Journal introduces new tools to have in your corner when feelings of overwhelm appear – such as breathwork, mediation, and tapping – making the Overcoming Overwhelm Journal the perfect companion to getting you on the right track for a fulfilling and productive life and prioritising self-care in difficult times.

I’ve been benefiting from the Anti-burnout club online support for a while and was so excited about this book which I pre-ordered and received a couple of days ago. I’m not at all disappointed! I’m right at the beginning, having spent some prep time yesterday and today reading the info and setting my intentions. Once set up it feels like it will flow easily to help me achieve my goals with sensible guidance but without there being so much stuff to be overwhelming. This is a quality item that’s well designed, nice to hold and with lovely paper that is satisfying to write on. Haven’t yet tried the online resources within this plan (although I’ve used some of the brilliant videos and recipes previously so I know how useful they are). Just taking it a step at a time, it feels really positive and I’m excited to see how it pans out. Thank you Bex for all you do.

As someone who loves using planners and journals I have tried and tested so many, but this has to be my all time favourite!
It has all your daily/weekly planning essentials that makes it very functional as a general use planner but with the added bonus of a habit and mood tracker, end of day reflections, goal setting and priorities for the week/day.
The best thing about this journal has to be the 12 week guided course which you access in the journal and online. This is what makes this journal stand out from the crowd!! It guides you through everything from intention setting, habit building, exercise, nutrition, meditation and so much more!?
Honestly you get so much value for your money, it’s half the price of most of the journals I’ve used before you get so much more! Highly recommend!!!

This is a fantastic journal! Not only is it very pretty, and great quality, it's also very user friendly. The sections and bullet points are very useful and to the point, so if you don't want to spend too long filling in the journal, you don't have to. I also love the fact that each day has a lesson associated to it, and therefore helps with personal self-development. I've been a member of the ABC for several months and really value the lessons, exercises classes and courses, the teachers and the community.
I highly recommend it, for anyone looking for a journal with a difference! And as it's undated, you can start it whenever you want!

Arrived today and I’ve had a read through, but I’m starting my 2 week journey in February. However, it looks awesome!
It is so much more than a book/journal as it gives you access to online resources like videos and articles.
It promises not to overload and is based around a wide range of empowering approaches. Simple layout, easy to follow, non-judgemental and structured! Any more would be adding to the workload, and I want to prevent that.
Bex is awesome and worth contacting for some 1:1 inspiration and insight, particularly if you want to support those working with or for you.

I love how the author breaks down steps we can take to improve our health. I loved the weekly check-ins. So often, I let time - months, years - go by without thinking about what I'd like to accomplish. This book really helps you ask yourself what you would like to do, and helps you break down the steps on a weekly basis.
