Hi, I’m Bex, Mental Health Advocate, Entrepreneur, Burnout Recoveree, and Founder of the Anti-Burnout Club.
Burnout – it sounds scary, doesn’t it? It also sounds like something you’d imagine some Wall Street trader to get in a movie, not something you’d experience yourself. I always thought burnout was reserved for people who weren’t like me… How wrong was I. By my mid-20s, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and cortisol levels (the stress hormone). My dad and his dad had both passed away from heart attacks at 60 and all of a sudden, I was scared… “That could be me.”
After my 30th birthday, I knew that I wanted to make some big changes in my life. And then, Covid hit. I watched as the whole world started working from home, finding it more and more difficult to shut off and leave work behind them. It wasn’t just me that was burning out, it was society as a whole.And so, The Anti-Burnout Club was born with a simple mission:
To offer a supportive, inclusive and accessible place for people to access all the expert guidance, tools and resources they need to thrive mentally and physically.
Forget hustle culture, forget working 12-hour days, forget thinking that money is the only symbol of success. We are anti all of that BS!

Work with BexBex Spiller ran a successful content agency for nearly a decade, but she paid for it with her health.
In her mid-20s she suffered badly from burnout, high cortisol levels and blood pressure, and was constantly told to “slow down.”
When her father passed away from a heart attack having had the same hustle hard mentality, Bex knew she needed to make a change.
She set up The Anti-Burnout Club during the pandemic to share her story and all of her learnings from her journey to bring back balance.
Over 2,000 people have taken part in Bex’s challenges and classes since January 2021 - and the reviews have been phenomenal.
Bex is an MBA scholar specialising in the economics of well-being and organisational behaviour, with a highly commended paper on improving the well-being of workforces in the UK.
She is also a mindfulness practitioner, mental health advocate and writer, with pieces published in HuffPost, Time To Change, The Startup and for Reebok.
